  • Keeping 1RM for goals reached.

    Hello!

I've been using jefit for about 3months now and it's THE best app out there

However there is one thing that slightly annoys me, considering the benchmark exercises and the goals you can set.

I.e the barbell bicep curl. I set my goal and I reached it last week, and then I lowered my weights and increased my reps, which lowered my 1RM, and the bar on the goal went down again.

I might have missed the feature, but I would love to be able to "lock" a certain 1RM to your goals or maybe use the highest 1RM that shows when you save a set in the app.
It just bugs me to not have that bar filled up when I hade once before :P

    Stay the best!

    Hi,

I would also like to see the highest RM and not the latest one being shown on the goal page. I try to max out the benchmark excersises on a regular basis, but not on every session

Is this something that can be configured?

Going back on this request from three years ago, can this be done? Please?

Don't take the estimated 1RMs too seriously. They are only just that - estimates, and for low reps in particular they're optimistic because they use Epley's formula rather than Matt Brzycki's, which is better for reps of, say, 1 to 5.
